Weekend 10: Countertop Tile Demo and Offroading

We took a break this weekend to do some of this

Since the tile and countertop guys were coming the following weekend, we needed to demo the tile on the countertops.

Weekend 9: Some furniture, baseboard, paint touchups

Not the most productive weekend, but we finally have some furniture!  A couch, a rug, and some (temporary) chairs.  It's also our first weekend actually sleeping in the house!  A mattress on the floor, but it's a start.

Weekend 8: Floors done! Paint Prep, Paint

The floors came out a lot darker and browner then we thought it would, but we're thrilled with the result.  Because of the unexpected floor color, we decided to switch our wall color from the initially planned gray to bright white to create a bold contrast between the walls and the floor. We covered the entire house in paper, rented the paint sprayer and painted the entire house.

Weekend 7: Epoxy 2

I took the week off and headed to NJ for passover.  Don was kind enough to go to the house and lay down the second layer of epoxy.
